A Case of Hemangiopericytoma Occurring in Palatine Tonsil.

Abstract
Hemangiopericytoma, originally described by Stout and Murray, is a very rare vascular tumor composed of capillaries or endothelial sprouts and of proliferating pericytes.
It may be benign or malignant.
Author experienced a case of hemangiopericytoma occurred in the palatine tonsil of a 64-yearold Korean man.
Under general, anesthesia, through preliminary tracheostomy, the tumor measuring 5X4X3cm was dissected out.
No local recurrence or metastasis occurred up to date (about two and half years after surgery).
